The Collected Collage is a vision of my passion for antique jewelry and collage art. I believe that hunting for the most unusual pieces of jewelry is much like creating a collage and watching the image unfold. Every unique piece is found, cleaned, and researched by me, and comes from anywhere I can look through a box of old jewelry: Antique malls, shows, shops, thrift stores, jewelry sales, and personal collections. The designs, materials, and history of antique jewelry intrigue and inspire me; they are like small works of art. Working for a number of small vintage & antiques companies in the past several years, including a vintage styling house in Manhattan and an antique jewelry shop outside of Philadelphia, has given me a lot of valuable experience. I have an extensive knowledge base of time periods and their design, materials used, and market values. In addition to this, I am currently very active in the antiques business.My hope is that you find something here that you love as much as I do. Jewelry ranging from the late 1800's to the 1980s, with an emphasis on bold, statement pieces, is available through my Etsy online shop, or at the vintage markets in the Philadelphia/New York City area.
